First-party measurement with a clear choice.
BronzeDev Insights records analytics only after you accept analytics processing. Rejecting it leaves article reading available and stops optional visit measurement. A necessary consent audit stores the choice, policy version, time, IP address and user agent so BronzeDev can prove and honour that choice.
What analytics records
For each consented page view, BronzeDev may record the page and article, time, referral and UTM campaign, a random session and consent identifier, browser, operating system, device class, language, screen size, IP address, and approximate country, region, city and timezone inferred from that IP. IP location is approximate and is not GPS location.
Why it is used
The data shows which articles and campaigns create useful visits and project enquiries, where the readership is broadly located, and whether the site works across devices. It is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, automated profiling, or sale to data brokers.
Lead attribution
Links to the BronzeDev consulting site carry the source page, article slug and campaign fields. If you submit a project enquiry, those fields are saved with the information you provide so BronzeDev can understand which content led to the enquiry and respond to it.
Processors and retention
Analytics is stored in BronzeDev's own application database. When hosting location headers are unavailable, the backend sends the IP address to the IPWhois geolocation service after consent to obtain an approximate area. Raw visit records are retained for up to 180 days; aggregated business reporting may remain after direct identifiers are removed. Enquiry records are kept while needed to respond, manage the sales relationship and meet legitimate recordkeeping needs.

You may reject analytics or change your choice at any time. To request access, correction or deletion of enquiry or analytics information, email balldesign28@gmail.com and include enough detail to locate the record.
